We adopted a 3 month old black lab female this past weekend (Oct. 26). She was born on July 11, the day before our wedding! She is quickly wrapping both of us around her paws!!! She loves to snuggle on the couch in the evening...although, at 3:30 a.m. today, Kristi decided we need to keep her awake later in the evening so she sleeps longer as she decided it was time to wake up. After 2 trips outside taking care of #1 & #2...knowing she didn't have any "business" to take care of out there---we just let her bark! Good practice for the future we guess! In spite of that, we love her a bunch already! John plans to train her for hunting & Kristi plans on her being an indoor family dog. We're thankful to the people who gave her to us for free...with the only stipulation that she receives a good home...if they only knew the life Luther lived with Kristi, any worries they might have would be quickly erased!!! Kristi thinks she is Luther reincarnated! They have a lot of similar personality traits! We're sure you'll see more news about Kona in future blog posts!
