The reality of our life together is becoming more of a reality each day that passes...my house officially went on the market today...and had a first showing. The past month has been very intense trying to get the house on the market. There are still a number of "touch-ups" that need to happen, but it's good enough to show. My realtor had been through the house back in November to give me suggestions of things to work on and improve before putting the house on the market...let's just say she was pleasantly surprised!!! Luther isn't quite sure he's going to like this house showing stuff as he is confined to the bathroom when it is being shown...but there are gates up at the door so he can still see what is going on out in his house.

If having the house on the market didn't make moving seem real, the realization that my time teaching at St. John Lutheran is quickly coming to an end...last night was our school auction, always a fun night (I won the bid for ZOOM teeth whitening...so my teeth will look good for the wedding!!!)---but it was a bittersweet night as I realized that this was my last St. John auction, and several parents took the opportunity to share their well wishes with me. It was also announced this past week that they have hired a teacher for my position next year.

But...that somber stuff aside, I am very excited for the wedding and for us to start our life together! The official countdown to the wedding is 98 days! We're into double digits for our countdown!! It will be here before we know it!
